Skylight Bakery Identity

Skylight Bakery is a small start-up based in Wichita, KS. The founder was looking for a brand and identity to establish her business in the local market—one that would enable her to introduce her product to a customer base beyond her family and friends. She creates whimsical baked goods including multi-tier cakes, decorated cookies, themed cupcakes, and specialty treats. She wanted a brand that captured her colorful, confectionary creations. With her chosen name of “Skylight Bakery” as the foundation, I established a set of illustrations, typefaces, and colors to capture her vision.
